Celebrating 25 Years On Broadway!
The festival, which centers along Broadway Avenue, starts Friday August 14, 2009. Other events include the Mud Volleyball Tournament, a parade, a street dance, 10K race, horseshoe tournament, golf tournament, car show, pet contest, tractor pull, Miss Heritage Days Pageant and ending the festival with a fireworks display on Sunday. The Heritage Days Committee consists of volunteers to plan the city's annual festival. Volunteers are always welcomed. If you are interested in volunteering or have some new ideas, simply attend their meeting held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. (except December).
